Azzate: Ca Vinea
Ca Vinea is located in the Torre San Quitico vineyard just outside of Azzate on Lake Varese. The vineyard was named after the historic tower situated within its grounds.Here the owners, Anna Carla Bassetti and Alessio Fornasetti, cultivate their excellent wine, Sommo Clivo. They are pleased to open their doors to interested guests and offer a wine tasting. In the property you can easily recognise the work of the renowned furniture designer and architect Vico Magistretti. High ceilings and large corner windows allow an unobstructed view of the nearby park and the vineyard. The outdoor shower is a refreshing way to cool down after walks through the surrounding forest up to the “green grotto”.
